Reporting:
Clear and flexible
reporting helps clients analyse vehicle behaviour. When using mileage
pricing, clients can calculate how much each vehicle costs in a fleet. By
comparing the actual fuel costs with the predicted fuel costs, it becomes easy
to see where any inefficiency resides. TMS2 provides the ability to check if
planned routes are being adhered to and drivers are starting and finishing at
the correct times. Lengths of visits to customers can be monitored too.
Unauthorised use of vehicles will be a thing of the past – fleet managers will
now know exactly where they went, how long they were there and which route they
used to get there.
The TMS2 system
offers reports that are easy to use and provide essential management information
to help monitor fleet activity and performance. The reports provide a
wealth of information to help run a fleet more efficiently, making the TMS2
system much more than a simple vehicle location system. Reports can be sent to
the printer, saved as a file or emailed to the relevant people.
Report categories
include activity, actual hours worked, distance travelled (by vehicle or
driver), exceptions and journey information. Vehicle activity reports
show the vehicle and/or trailer activity over a given time scale including time
travelling, time idling and standing time distance and cost, distance travelled,
daily operating costs and a summary of totals by week and by vehicle/trailer.
Working hours
report shows the start of the first journey and end of last journey for a fleet
to help track and calculate the actual hours worked by a driver or vehicles. It
includes the date and total hours worked, the time that the vehicle was started
and shut down for the day, the total hours/days worked within the parameters set
and the average hours worked within the period examined. Distance travelled
report shows the time and location of every start and stop a vehicle has made,
and calculates the distance travelled and travelling time. Exceptions
reports can advise of any unscheduled or prohibited fleet activity such as
extended stops or unscheduled stops, excessive idling or speeding, visits to
barred locations, alarm activations, route deviations and a summary of
exceptions made each day.
Journey reports
show a summary of the activity of each vehicle including distance travelled,
time taken, idling time, the number of journeys and the cost. It shows for each
vehicle the number of journeys made, the start and stop points (as street
addresses) the times and distance with daily totals.
