Just like - a
small autonomous electronic Tag with an operating life in excess of 3 years
without the need to attach the device to any external power source. This device
is simply attached to the trailer body with no requirement to attach to any of
the trailers electrics.

By using a 'black
box' tracking unit powered by a solar panel, full real-time tracking
can be achieved, providing all of the reporting and geofencing capabilities you
would expect from a fully powered system to you un-powered assets .
Depending on
requirements, it's possible to use iTrail as a simple ‘audit’ control allowing
the system to keep track of which trailers or assets are at which location. Alternatively,
use it to accurately track the location of a single trailer in an emergency or
if you require 'real-time' tracking without the need to provide a power feed,
then our solar panel based systems cab be used.
Choose to see a single vehicle, a group of vehicles or an entire fleet on the
map at one time - the high quality maps will zoom down to street level if
necessary.
