Navigation with i-Nav:

The product provides Turn-by-Turn Navigation with Voice Assistance to assist the driver in reaching a destination in the shortest time or by travelling the shortest distance. Clear mapping and instructions are available at all levels across the UK. The product tracks the vehicle’s progress across the country using GPS for accurate positioning.

TMS2 can provide a variety of in-cab navigation options. These solutions can significantly improve productivity and customer service levels for fleet drivers with a large number of drop-offs and collections in a day.

There are three families of navigation solutions: on-board, off-board or a hybrid combination of the two. An on-board system contains the mapping data in each handheld computer in each vehicle, and so does not require any wireless links to a central hub. An off-board system contains all the mapping, navigation and live traffic data centrally in one place (the “hub”) and therefore requires data communications, and a hybrid system combines the benefits of both
